It was the first complete game of the season for a Lakewood pitcher.

Welinson Baez tied the game in the 2nd with his 2nd HR of the year, and Tuffy Gosewisch gave the BlueClaws the lead with a 4th inning SAC fly to drive in Charlie Yarbrough.

Gus Milner, who robbed Steve Chapman of an extra-base hit in the top of the 8th inning, singled in two with the bases loaded in the bottom half off of Shawn Ferguson to give the BlueClaws a 5-2 lead.
