Utility infielder hits game-winning home run in eighth
In a game that was all about the pitchers, a pair of BlueClaws hitters stole the show on Sunday afternoon. Julain Sampson and Amaury Rivas kept the offenses in check, but Dennis Winn's eight- inning home run helped the BlueClaws to a 3-1 victory over West Virginia at FirstEnergy Park. Winn's second home run of the season snapped a 1-1 tie in the bottom of he eighth and helped to end the BlueClaws season-long six game losing streak. The two-run shot came with two outs off of Power reliever Reed Dickert (0-1).

Winn drives in winner in 6-5 victory over West Virginia

BlueClaws win 7th straight and sweep the Power
The BlueClaws got a run in the top of the ninth to break a 5-5 tie and take a 6-5 victory over West Virginia at Appalachian Power Park, their seventh win in a row. The victory completed a sweep of West Virginia-the first series sweep for the BlueClaws this season. Lakewood has won nine of its last ten games.

Kenny attended a Phillies game on August 26th and fell 15 feet from the right field seats during the pre-game batting practice.
