Shreve was drafted in 2008, but missed that year with Tommy John Surgery and missed 2009 after needing additional surgery from Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham.

Before Monday's game at Delmarva, we sat down with BlueClaws RHP Jordan Ellis, who has assumed the closer's role for the BlueClaws. Ellis earned his second save of the year on Sunday, and has allowed just two hits, no runs and now walks over his last 10.2 innings, and two earned runs in his last 17.2 innings pitched.

Ellis was a 25th round pick in 2008 out of Villanova and is from Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
