Move to three games behind Lake County
The BlueClaws managed to salvage one game in a four-game set with the Suns, taking a 7-3 win over Hagerstown on Wednesday night at Municipal Stadium. The win, coupled with two Lake County losses in their doubleheader with Delmarva, moved the BlueClaws (36-30) to three games behind the first-place Captains. Each team has four games remaining before the All Star break.

Lakewood scores 12 in first two innings
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The BlueClaws scored 12 runs in the first two innings to put away Greensboro early and cruised to a 14-5 victory on Saturday night at NewBridge Bank Park. Lakewood scored six runs in both the first and second frames in support of starter Chance Chapman. The 14 runs were the most scored by the BlueClaws in a single game this season.

BlueClaws beat West Virginia 4-3 for sixth straight win

Bullpen throws 8 1/3 innings after lengthy rain delay
The Lakewood BlueClaws used three early runs and another strong bullpen performance to hang on for a 4-3 victory over West Virginia on Monday afternoon at Appalachian Power Park. The BlueClaws were forced to rely on their relief corps once again, after Drew Naylor was only able to pitch 2/3 of an inning. After facing just three batters in the bottom of the first, the game went into a one hour and 25 minute rain delay.

Sanabia holds 'Claws to just four hits
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- One night after their largest offensive output of the season, the BlueClaws were held off the board on Sunday night at NewBridge Bank Park, as Greensboro posted a 3-0 win.
Alex Sanabia was fantastic in his start for the Grasshoppers, giving up no runs on four hits in seven innings. Sanabia (5-3) also struck out eight one night after Lakewood put up a season-best 14 runs including 12 in the first two innings.

BlueClaws break out in 8-1 win over Kannapolis

Kennelly reaches five times in victory
LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The BlueClaws broke out of their offensive slump in a big way on Saturday night at FirstEnergy Park, notching a decisive 8-1 victory over the Kannapolis Intimidators.
The big offensive night helped snapped a three-game losing streak and a stretch of 24 straight innings without a run.
With the BlueClaws leading just 1-0, Mike Durant gave the BlueClaws all the offense they would need in the third. The Lakewood designated hitter crushed a bases-loaded triple off the left-centerfield wall to score three runs and put the BlueClaws on top 4-0.
